Supported by The Mayor of London’s Culture Seeds, Zoomed is a free, weekly, photographic expression project for youth refugees and migrants who are residents of Ealing Borough. In the six photography workshops, participants can discover their creativity, build confidence, and share their stories through photography in a creative environment.
The Zoomed project is initiated by Sulaiman Othman the producer and curator of the Hikayetna(our story), a community art project. Refugees and migrants are an integral part of diversity in the success of London. The goal of this project is to provide a platform where refugee and migrants can express themselves and share their stories thought digital photography.
The zoomed project is part of Sulaiman Othman initiative’s commitment to establishing digital photography programmes in unrepresentative groups, creating the opportunity for empowerment and inspiration refugee and migrants.
